Users can map levels together to apply conditional logic within a worksheet. This means that selections in one level determine the available options in another level.
For example, if the Market is set to A, only Products X, Y, and Z can be selected.
It is important to note:
Once a level is mapped, this conditional logic applies to every worksheet, including any future worksheets.
If a new value is added to a mapped level, the mapping must be updated to include the new value to ensure the logic continues to work correctly.
How to Create Mapped Levels
On the taxonomy home screen under the 'Admin' section, click Manage Values & Mappings.
Select the level and value you would like to start building a relationship from.
Under Map to Level, select the second level you want this relationship to apply to.
Add the values you want to map using the drop-down under Map to Value.
How to Delete Mappings
Users can delete mappings if needed. To remove a mapping:
Select the level you want to edit.
Under Map to Level, select the second level where a mapping exists.
Click the X next to the mapping you want to remove.
