This article explains how to configure a Custom App in Shopify to enable automated reporting via Shopify API

Integrating with the Shopify Admin API allows us to pull Order / Revenue data and other KPIs from your Store.

In Shopify terms, the approach to take is to create a 'Custom App' which will generate authentication credentials that allow us to make calls against the Shopify API.

When it comes to selecting the Scopes for the Custom App, we primarily require 'Read Orders'. This will allow us to pull transaction data.

If any additional scopes are required to meet your use case these will need to be included. If you have any questions about scopes please contact the Bright Analytics support team.
