In the Bright Analytics report engine you can control the way your dates are formatted.
For example:
2017-06-10
10th June 2017
Sat 10th June 2017
etc
To change this you need to head to the 'Date' dimension in the report builder UI.
You need to change 2 settings:
The SQL field. This accepts MySQL date formatting arguments
The Date Format field. This accepts PHP date formatting arguments.
The resulting output of the 2 fields need to be identical.
