Refresh a Report

How to force a refresh of a report.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

In some cases you may want to force a refresh of a report.

For example if you encounter a problem running a report, the request times out or if you have made underlying data model changes that are in the progress of syncing.

Refresh Report:

  1. Click the 'i' icon in the top left of the report

  2. Click the 'Queries' tab

  3. Click the 'Re-run report' button

This will bypass any cached reports and trigger a fresh build of the report.

Advanced Report Refresh:

This feature will give you control of your reports when new data becomes available.

When viewing any dashboard, reports will only be refreshed with new data if you click on the 'load fresh data' button found at the top right of the report. To refresh all the reports that have new data available on a given dashboard, you can click the 'load fresh data' option within the settings cog.

Once 'load fresh data' is clicked, you will be able to see full visibility into which queries are running. This summary will show how many queries are being run and give an indication of how long a report will take to run.
