Navigating the Platform

A guide to the Bright Analytics home screen and where to find each platform feature.

Overview:

When you log in, you're taken to your instance home screen, your starting point for accessing every part of Bright Analytics.

The exact layout you see depends on your user permissions, so some sections below may not appear on your screen.

Reporting

Everything related to building and managing reports lives here:

  • Dashboards: access your dashboards and folders.

  • Alerts: manage alerts set up on your reports and dashboards.

  • Schedules: view and manage scheduled report or dashboard exports.

  • Reporting API: access your data and definitions programmatically.

Recently Viewed

Favourites

Any dashboard or folder you've favourited appears here for quick access.

  • Datasources: view your connected datasources.
