Overview:
Bright Analytics is a marketing analytics platform built around one governed data model, owned by your analysts. It connects your marketing platforms, business data, and reporting tools together, so every dashboard, report, API call, and AI query works from the same trusted definitions - instead of separate exports, spreadsheets, and one-off numbers.
The Modules:
The platform is made up of seven modules, each covering a distinct part of the journey from raw data to a finished report.
Pipeline Manager: connects to your marketing platforms and automatically brings that data in.
Data Hosts: connects your existing databases and warehouses into the same model.
Semantic Layer: where your analysts define the metrics, dimensions and rules used in reporting.
Dashboard Reporting and Visualisation: dashboards, reports and alerts built on the governed model.
Reporting API: access the same data and definitions from any external tool.
MCP Server: connect AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot directly to your semantic layer.
Taxonomy Manager: enforces consistent naming conventions on marketing activity from the moment it's created.
Pipeline Manager:
Pipeline Manager automatically collects data from your marketing platforms across paid search, paid social, programmatic, web analytics, MMPs, organic and CRM sources and stores it in a managed data warehouse.
Once you authenticate a connection, Pipeline Manager handles the ongoing sync; monitored by the Bright Analytics team.
Data Hosts
Data Hosts connects Bright Analytics to the business data you already hold - MySQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, Azure SQL, Databricks and more.
Marketing data can sit alongside the business outcomes it's meant to explain. Connections are read-only and query your data in place, with no migration required.
Semantic Layer
The Semantic Layer is where your analysts define the metrics, dimensions, relationships, and business logic that describe your business. Every definition is created once, reused everywhere, and fully auditable, every dashboard, API call and AI query answers from the same governed model.
Dashboard Reporting and Visualisation
Reporting and Visualisation is where dashboards, reports and alerts get built on top of the unified data model.
Reports update automatically when data refreshes or a definition changes, and dashboard access can be tailored to specific teams and roles.
Reporting API
The Reporting API puts your governed data and definitions to work in any tool your team already uses.
It follows standard REST conventions, so you can query the model directly instead of relying on one-off CSV exports.
MCP Server
The MCP Server connects AI assistants - Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot -directly to your semantic layer, so natural-language questions get answered using your unified metrics and definitions rather than a generic estimate.
Taxonomy Manager
Taxonomy Manager builds consistent breakdowns into how marketing activity is named from the moment it's created, in order for campaigns, channels, and audiences to follow a defined naming formula.
