Custom calendars are great for bespoke reporting and can be set up with relative ease.

To commence the set-up we need to establish the client's requirements for the calendar. Such as the week start date, the fiscal year or financial year.

The calendar can then be sent to us via CSV file and we import it into our database.

We then set up the datasource into the Report Engine.

The calendar's properties can be represented in the reports through its dimensions  in the Report Engine.

It is important to map the dimension to each datasource that needs to be utilised.
