Use cases for impersonating a user

Impersonating a user allows you to see the platform as they see it, including which folders and dashboards they have access to and which content they have recently viewed.

This is particularly useful for checking that users have the correct level of access. For example, if you have dashboards intended for clients, you can impersonate a client user to confirm that they can access the relevant client-facing dashboards without being able to see internal or agency reporting.
