Data Hosting & Data Warehouses

Where does Bright Analytics pull data report from? Do we need to provide a data warehouse?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

By default Bright Analytics will provision and maintain a data warehouse dedicated to your marketing analytics data.

The data that we ingest through the API connections you create with the Bright Analytics platforms will be store - permanently - in the data warehouse we manage for you.

Unless otherwise discussed we will provision your data warehouse on the Amazon Web Services platform.

We will store your data in a region that is suitable for your requirements, but by default this will be Europe (West).

We can also work with existing data warehouse and data infrastructure you have in place: we would configure your Bright Analytics instance to connect to and pull data from your data warehouse and include this data in your Bright Analytics reports and dashboards.

This makes Bright Analytics an ideal partner to an ETL/ELT service you may already have in place.

Bright can also connect to multiple data hosts and incorporate data from multiple locations into a single KPI / report / dashboard. This may be useful if you have data stored internally - for example detailed Ecommerce transaction data - and you wish to link this data to marketing analytics activity that you want Bright Analytics to ingest and store for you.
